The Meating brings together technology, innovation, culture and lifestyle. 


This social picnic takes place on the first Sunday of every month at Wagga Gardenex, Glen Valley, offering food, beverages, music and the opportunity to interact with service providers.


The organisers were looking for a software partner to help them sell and promote their gatherings with an online event ticketing software and replacing the inefficient token system with a digital solution.


The Nutickets event ticketing software didn’t just allow The Meating to sell tickets online, but enabled them to offer their customers group discounts on specific days, such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Guests and partners were able to register on a guest list to ensure a smooth arrival experience on the day.

Entry management

On the day of the event the Nutickets Entry app enabled the organisers to validate and admit attendees with a quick scan of their tickets, reducing queuing and providing a better arrival experience.

RFID wristbands

The Meating offers each attendee a complimentary plate of braai, which was loaded onto the customised RFID wristbands issued on arrival. Our Cashless app enabled customers to claim their plate with a quick tap of their RFID wristbands.

What’s more, the Nutickets detailed event reporting made the reconciliation process seamless.
